How I can help you

    B12 injections

B12 injections may be suitable for some people with confirmed or strongly suspected B12 deficiency, depending on symptoms, risk factors and the likely cause.

I do not offer injections without context. I review your symptoms, history, previous results and possible causes of deficiency before advising whether B12 injections are appropriate and how response should be reviewed.

    Iron infusions

Iron infusions may be considered when iron deficiency, low ferritin or iron deficiency anaemia has been properly assessed and oral iron is not suitable, not tolerated or has not worked well enough.

I will review your symptoms, ferritin, iron studies, full blood count, medical history and previous response to treatment before advising whether an iron infusion may be suitable.

    Blood tests and diagnostics

Private blood tests can help identify or clarify B12 deficiency, iron deficiency, anaemia, folate problems, vitamin D deficiency, thyroid issues and related metabolic concerns.

I choose tests based on your symptoms and history, then explain the results in plain English so you understand what they show, what they do not prove and what should happen next.

    Private GP consultations

A private GP consultation gives us time to talk through symptoms that may not have been fully explained, especially when fatigue, brain fog, dizziness, nerve symptoms, palpitations, low mood or pain are affecting daily life.

I look at the whole picture – your symptoms, medical history, risk factors, blood results and previous treatment response – before agreeing a practical plan with you.

  • B12 Metabolic Clinic is not a narrow injection or infusion service

Your care is led by me personally, Dr Asim Naqvi. I take time to understand your symptoms, review your blood results in context and consider possible causes, cofactors and alternative diagnoses before recommending treatment.

That may include looking at B12, iron, ferritin, folate, vitamin D, thyroid function, inflammation, autoimmune background, gut absorption issues, medication effects and previous treatment response where relevant.

If treatment is appropriate, I will explain why. If another diagnosis, further testing or referral is more sensible, I will say so clearly.
